LEARN TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO WOOD AND MAKE A RUSTIC SIGN!

Do you love rustic farmhouse style and have a favorite photo? Learn to transfer photos to wood in this special image transfer class! You will send in a digital photo image (by email - AND IF YOU NEED HELP JUST LET ME KNOW) and I will create a custom image transfer for you - and teach you how to create a beautiful rustic wood sign using your submitted photo. Learn the fundamentals of image transfer from start to finish in this instructional class led by pro painter and owner of The Rusty Gate, Susie Myres . We will cover all the steps with hands-on application, and you will leave class with your own photo beautifully transformed on a rustic wood sign!! With the information and techniques you will learn in this class, you will be ready to create other photo image transfers on your own at home. I will walk you through the entire process and we will have a BLAST doing it. All signs will be prepared and ready for you to begin the image transfer process. We will apply sealer and optional antiquing techniques if desired. Approx 3 Hr class is $69, and you will take your masterpiece home.

About the photos / Images for transferring:

If you desire to use a custom photo you own, we will need a clear image emailed no later than 5 days prior to the class date. The image must be of sufficient size and clarity for use on a 16 x 20 sign. We can digitally enhance and work with most digital images and will notify you if there is any issue with the image you have submitted. If desired, you may also choose to use any image or design suitable for image transfer, or we can help you select an image from our image transfer library.

What can I bring into the class?

You may bring your favorite beverage and snacks. We will be serving light appetizers and refreshments

Do I need to bring any tools or supplies?

All tools and supplies for this class will be provided for the students

Should I wear special clothing for painting?

That's up to you. Full bib aprons will be provided, however there WILL be creativity and PAINT is involved.

Can I cancel? What's the refund policy?

We get it, life happens and you may need to reschedule. We will be fully preparing for all students so there are no refunds, but if you need to cancel, your registration can be applied toward any other class.
