In this demonstration class, you will learn several techniques for making new wood look like old wood and old barnwood.  Led by furniture artist and owner of The Rusty Gate shop, Susie Myres, she will present several methods using special tools, stains, paints and washes to get the look of time worn wood.  There is a wide range of methods to achieving this look, and this class will cover a variety for bare wood, stained wood, and pre-painted wood. Whether you are a beginner or experienced painter looking for new tips and techniques, you will learn the proper tools and supplies, preparation, application and protection of the finished work.
