Make a Fall or Halloween Porch Sign

MAKE  YOUR PORCH EXTRA SPECIAL THIS FALL WITH A HAND MADE PORCH SIGN!

Do you love a welcoming porch or front door display? How would you like to learn to make your OWN front porch welcome sign,  and take it home with you? Learn the fundamentals of this hand made sign project from start to finish in this instructional class led by pro painter and owner of The Rusty Gate, Susie Myres . We will cover all the steps with hands-on application, and you will leave class with a beautiful 4 ft tall porch sign that YOU design and create!  With the information and techniques you will learn in this class, you will learn the basics of painting or vinyl letering, stenciling and sealcoating your design.  I will walk you through the entire process and we will have a BLAST doing it. The class consists of base coat painting, hand stenciling, letter painting OR Vinyl transfer (depending on your design) and embellishment. Choose from a variety of colors to paint your design over a stained natural wood color.  Choose your lettering colors and get creative with ribbon and floral embellishment! We will have stamps, stencils and free form decoration available for you to choose.  3 Hr class is $54, and you will take your masterpiece home.

This class will include:

* Welcome boards in 4 ft length (approx 10-12" wide)

* The basic tools and supplies you will need

* Instruction on applying hand made stencils (may be pre applied for time saving)

* Variety of paint colors for lettering painting

* Instruction on free form embellishment, stamping or stencil designs

* Finishing coat for light outdoor use (covered porch)

What can I bring into the class?

You may bring your favorite beverage and snacks. We will be serving light appetizers and refreshments

Do I need to bring any tools or supplies?

All tools and supplies for this class will be provided for the students

Should I wear special clothing for painting?

That's up to you. Full bib aprons will be provided, however there WILL be creativity and PAINT is involved.

Can I cancel? What's the refund policy?

We get it, life happens and you may need to reschedule. We will be fully preparing for all students so there are no refunds, but if you need to cancel, your registration can be applied toward any other class.
