Fancy Frame Makeover

TURN A TIRED OLD FRAME INTO A SHABBY CHIC WORK OF ART

Do you love the look of old patina on a fancy frame? Learn how to achieve the look in this FUN class where we will take tired looking fancy frames and make them FABULOUS with a chippy, shabby vintage style finish. You can either BRING YOUR OWN FRAME (30" or smaller) and refinish it ($49 if you bring your own frame) OR we will supply the frame ($87 if we supply the frame, which you get to take home). No experience is necessary! We will walk you through the entire process of prepping, painting, sealing and specialty finish such as crackle, patina, glaze, and dark waxing, so you can learn these finish techniques and apply them to other projects. Plus, students can use a 15% off coupon for any shop purchases made that night (excluding paint and painting supplies)

PLEASE NOTE - there are 2 ticket types, at 2 price points, one if you are bringing your own frame, one if you need one provided. Please select the appropriate ticked whether you want to finish your own frame, or have one provided.

IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR OWN FRAME.....please select a frame that can be finished during the class, one that is 30" on any side, or smaller, and is at least 12" on any side. Select a frame that has ornate detail or carvings on it. Plain frames can be used but the fancy finish will not be as remarkable as a frame with carved or ornate detailing to it.

This small sized class will have plenty of individual attention by the instructor, so sign up quick, as seating is VERY limited.

This class will cover the following:

* Preparing your frame for refinishing

* Prime / pre paint sealing

* Using different paints

* Distressing and crackle techniques

* Finishing touches - using waxes, glazes and 'age dust'

Class length: approx 3 hrs

What can I bring into the class?

You may bring your favorite beverage and snacks. We will be serving light refreshments

Do I need to bring any tools or supplies?

All tools and supplies for this class will be provided for the students. You may bring your own frame to refinish it.

Do I need to have experience?

No! All techniques will be taught, and beginners and advanced crafters alike will enjoy this class.

Should I wear special clothing for crafting?

That's up to you. aprons will be available, however there WILL be creativity and can get messy.

Can I cancel? What's the refund policy?

We get it, life happens and you may need to reschedule. We will be fully preparing for all students and getting all materials ready for you, so there are no refunds, but if you need to cancel, your registration can be applied toward any future class.
